As I clench my shivering jaw

Picking up the pace towards the gas station
Because it's too cold out here to go through the ordeal of putting my headphones in
So all I'm listening to is
Footsteps and the occasional car
Foxes jumping up walls
It's beautiful but damn I can't enjoy it at all
I'm wondering how I'd feel if you were here
With me, arms linked, shouting over the wind
Would be a great night to share our first kiss
